So here, we return to Bologna, to our hilltop home overlooking the parklands, the vineyards, the churches, to Lorenzo, Marta, BonBon and Pimpa.

A few highlights…obviously, introducing Arky to this magnificent city was a delight. Exploring new nooks and crannies, particularly in the area around the tattoo parlour he visited (and became an inked person in). Re-visiting Lorenzo’s friend’s pop-up wine bar in the scandalously gentrified market area of old Bologna was a great night out. Who better to contribute to the gentrification of bologna than a couple of seasoned Antipodeans? But otherwise this was a simple continuation from where we left off 12 months ago, so no need to embellish with wasteful words. Enjoy the pictures.
