After a 4 hour ride from Porto to Galeria we were pretty happy with our lunch … delectable parcels filled with goats cheese for AW, delicious eggplant quiche for JM and a salad with the freshest produce – sourced from a kitchen garden nearby…ahh and did I mention the view?
And now for a cafe crema noisette with some sweet treats of biscotti and chocolate coconut drops, cue food bliss coma
‘Home’ dining in Ajaccio after visiting the markets in town. Even found some pizza sans gluten with bases like little pillows of tasty goodness.Lunch in Cargese – salade avec fromages dotted with pomegranate seedsOur lazy day off the bikes in Porto sustained by reheating spinach parcels from the local boulangerie. Dare I say the ones from Piana were slightly better? Later in the day (below) local fish with seared aubergine, zucchini, mushroom … And AW went with coquelet avec frites. The following day (?) a bit more ‘home’ dining with some local fromages and the local aperitif Cap Corse.
