So he we are at Ajaccio airport. Our first time taking our bikes on tour. Somewhat nerve-wracking but our precious cargo made it all the way from Melbourne to Paris to Ajaccio. Yes, three flights… now the reassembly in readiness for our 3 week bike adventure!

First up – Ol’ Blue. He was banged together in no time, without a hitch. The usual creaks and groans, but nothing his master couldn’t tame. As for  young Horatio, Josephine’s spiffy new Soma Wolverine, well…she required a little more attention to the finer points of bicycle (re)construction. A dynamo hub here, a derailleur tweak there…before too long we were all making our way merrily to the hub of Ajaccio. Mission…accomplished?
